The monopolar electrode is designed for punctual coagulation and dissection of tissues. Due to the large diameter, provides a more intense coagulation compared to smaller diameter electrodes.
Wire thickness: 0.2 mm.
Plug diameter: 2.4 mm.
Clinical use:
- For cauterizing small blood vessels in nasal bleeds
- Removal of small polyps or cyst, as well as for coagulation of hypertrophic mucosa areas.
- When removing large granulations.
