Rearward cutoff inserts are designed to remove tissues behind the blade. They are indispensable when working in the area of internal nostrils, e.g. when removing adenoids, cysts or tumours in the posterior nostril area, providing safer access to hard-to-reach areas and preventing accidental damage to nearby structures.
