We present to your attention an overview of the "RU.1" shaver rhinohandle manufactured by Eleps.
1. Connecting to the Control Unit
The end portion of the handle that connects to the shaver control unit is equipped with a protective cap and a locking ring. To remove the cap or disconnect the handle from the unit, pull the ring toward you.
When reconnecting, align the red dot and the tab with the corresponding slot and groove on the unit. While holding the ring in the pulled position, insert the connector all the way in, then release the ring to lock it in place.
2. Working with Inserts
To install the shaver insert, pull the locking ring on the handle toward you. Insert the working part all the way in. It is critically important to ensure that the insert is fully seated: an incomplete connection can damage the splined joints of both the insert and the handle itself. Removal is performed in reverse order — smoothly, without sharp jerks.
Disassembling the insert:
The inner part of the insert is movable. To remove it (for cleaning, for example), gently rotate it so that the working "window" faces outward. Using light rotational movements, pull out the inner part. Reassembly is just as careful: insert until resistance is met, then use light rotation to seat the part into place. Rushing is unacceptable here — a strong jerk will instantly ruin the insert.
3. Post-Operative Cleaning
To properly clean the shaver handle, follow these steps:
-
Remove the bayonet nut: Turn it counterclockwise and set it aside.
-
Rough cleaning (brushes): Use the two brushes from the kit and a cleaning solution.
-
Use the thin brush with reciprocating motions to clean the handle channel from the back side.
-
Use the same brush to clean the bayonet nut.
-
Use the larger diameter brush to clean the connection area between the inserts and the handle.
-
-
Pressure rinsing: Take the rinsing sleeve and install it on the handle instead of the insert. Using a syringe (20 ml), forcefully inject the cleaning solution into the opening.
-
Repeat the procedure three times, each time rotating the sleeve by a few degrees, so that the solution flushes out all contaminants from hard-to-reach places.
4. Lubrication and Final Preparation
After cleaning, the handle must be lubricated with silicone from the included spray can:
-
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the connection area with the bayonet nut.
-
Lubricate the connection area with the working inserts.
-
Reinstall the bayonet nut.
Important nuance: After lubrication and assembly, be sure to connect the handle to the control unit and run it in oscillating (reciprocating) mode for 10–15 seconds. This will allow the lubricant to be evenly distributed throughout the internal components. Following this procedure guarantees that your Eleps equipment will serve you reliably for a long time.
