iPhone — now also an endoscope

It seems the iPhone will soon replace all other devices. Even those that have nothing to do with communications, such as endoscopes. And the iPhone, it would seem, has nothing to do with it... However, British otolaryngologists Aijth George and Chris Coulson have developed an endoscope adapter for the iPhone, Medgadget reports. The device comes with an app, which allows the system to take photos and record high-resolution videos simultaneously (of everything that happens in a person's ear or larynx, for example, since Endoscope-i is suitable specifically for otoscopy, rhinoscopy, and laryngoscopy). Moreover, the medical accessory is compatible with both the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. It's worth noting that the iPhone is increasingly becoming a part of medicine. Earlier this month, a gadget app was unveiled that allows for rapid urine testing for 25 different diseases.
