ELEPS is a leading Russian manufacturer of medical endosurgical instruments, tools, and optics. In the early 90s, the company developed the first Russian laparoscope, and now, more than 30 years later, its product range includes a full spectrum of endosurgical equipment. ELEPS also continues its work on the creation and introduction of new models of medical technology.

Today, the products supplied by ELEPS include instruments and equipment for rhinoscopy, laparo- and thoracoscopy, arthroscopy, gynecology, electrosurgery, laser endourology, mammoplasty, etc. Compliance of products with the requirements of international norms and standards is confirmed by ISO certificates. The company also provides warranty service, maintenance, and repair of equipment. In cases where equipment is found to be irreparable or economically unfeasible to repair, ELEPS has a special exchange program under which faulty optics are replaced with new ones at a discount.
ELEPS equipment and instruments are used by medical institutions in Russia and the CIS countries. The company provides training in endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery using ELEPS equipment at the Kazan State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Russia and leading clinics in Kazan. Internal training is also conducted regularly. Today, the company employs over one hundred qualified specialists.
ELEPS continuously works on creating new product models. In doing so, the company often collaborates with the country's largest scientific organizations. For example, in partnership with Sechenov University and one of the leading suppliers of laser systems for medicine, "IRE-Polus," the company worked to create the first Russian complex for laser endourology, Quasar. Sechenov University defined the parameters of the future system, its composition, and also provided consultations during testing and development. "IRE-Polus" was responsible for creating the laser device, while ELEPS's tasks were the development and formation of a complete solution for visualization means—endovideo cameras and access instruments (resectoscopes, sheaths, morcellators, morcelloscopes, etc.).
The work on the system lasted over six months, after which the Quasar was released to the market. During the first operations at the clinic of the Research Institute of Uronephrology named after Fronshtein in Moscow, where the system was used, its creators conducted observations, noting possible directions for further improvement. The working group included four employees of Sechenov University – A.Z. Vinarov, D.V. Enikeev, N.I. Sorokin, and A.M. Dymov, thanks to whose experience and knowledge this project was realized.
Doctors were trained in working with the new equipment at the Praki Medica medical practice center.
Currently, ELEPS is open to cooperation with both medical equipment manufacturers and representatives of scientific organizations for new developments.
