A new electrosurgical unit has arrived at the Chekmagushevskaya Central District Hospital, the Bashkortostan Ministry of Health press service reported. The delivery of this modern medical equipment was made possible by the "Primary Care Modernization" program of the national "Healthcare" project. The electrosurgical unit is used to cut soft tissue and stop bleeding, the republic's Ministry of Health explained. Its key feature is its use of high-frequency electrical current. Patients experience no pain or discomfort, as the procedure stimulates nerve endings without damaging tissue. Wounds heal faster (up to one week), leave no scars, and are not accompanied by trauma or burns. Furthermore, this method reduces the risk of infection, as high-frequency waves destroy all microbes. "The new electrosurgical system can expand specialists' capabilities in removing skin and subcutaneous tissue tumors," said Alina Latypova, chief physician of the Chekmagushevskaya Central District Hospital.
