The endoscope clarifies the diagnosis

A seminar for nurses from medical institutions in Mari El held in the conference hall of the Republican Children's Hospital was titled "Preparation and Conduct of Endoscopic Examinations for Children." Participants covered a wide range of topics, including the history of endoscopy, patient preparation for endoscopic examinations, modern equipment reprocessing methods, and methods for examining various parts of the gastrointestinal tract. Two videos were shown: "Reprocessing Flexible Endoscopes" and "Esophageal Bougienage for Post-Chemical Esophageal Burns." The engaging discussion at the seminar allowed nurses to share experiences and gain new information that will enable them to improve the quality of medical care for children.
