II National Congress on Plastic Surgery in Kyrgyzstan

The 2nd National Congress on Plastic Surgery was held in Bishkek. This event brought together plastic surgery experts from Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as manufacturers of equipment, instruments, and consumables. Our partner in the Kyrgyz Republic, ALTERMED, was among the exhibitors. They presented the ELEPS transaxillary mammoplasty system to congress participants. The congress featured presentations on topics such as the role of tarsal fold fixation in blepharoplasty, current trends in leg and buttock contouring, reconstructive surgery for microtia, nasal defect reconstruction with a retroauricular flap, lipofilling, and preservation of the pectoralis major muscle in video-assisted transaxillary breast augmentation.
