III International Issyk-Kul Forum of Urologists

The III International Issyk-Kul Forum of Urologists was held in Kyrgyzstan. During the scientific program of the Forum, organized by the Association of Urologists and Andrologists of the Kyrgyz Republic, a wide range of issues related to various aspects of the treatment and diagnosis of urological diseases were considered. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev, the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training, and the European School of Urology. Dzharbusynov, Alchinbaev M.K., Director of the Research Institute of Urology named after. N.A. Lopatkina, Apolikhin O.I., Head of the Department of Urology and Nephrology at TGIUM, Gaibullaev A.A., Professor of the Urology Clinic in Almeria, Spain, Martinez F.P., President of the Urolithiasis Department of the European Association of Urologists, Professor Kemal Sarizha, Professor of the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University and President of the Association of Conservative Therapy Specialists "Aspect" Vinarov A.Z. The Forum was attended by urologists not only from Kyrgyzstan, but also from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Romania, and Turkey. They presented ELEPS equipment and endoscopes to the visitors. On July 28, the European School of Urology held a course on "Prostate Diseases," attended by approximately 200 specialists. The forum's organizers stated that they wanted to improve the qualifications of physicians from the regions. Since young doctors from the periphery cannot travel abroad to attend master classes, they had the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and skills through forums. [ /upload/medialibrary/1f7/2.jpg ] The Forum included two master classes on laparoscopic urology, specifically "Laparoscopic Prostatectomy" and "Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty for Ureteral Stricture." The master class was led by Professor David Nikolaishvili, Head of the Laparoscopy Department at the National Urology Center of Georgia. On the second day, two satellite symposiums were held: the first was held by the Aspect Association, and the second was on oncourology. Date: June 29 – July 1, 2017.
