XVI Congress of the Russian Union of Ukrainians

The 16th Congress of the Russian Society of Urologists (ROU) is taking place in Ufa from October 20th to 22nd, 2016. This year, ElePS will present the latest Quasar laser endoscopic surgery system, manufactured entirely in Russia. The system's key feature is the first next-generation Russian laser for minimally invasive 3-in-1 surgery: ThuLEP – thulium laser enucleation of prostate adenoma, vaporization, and gentle "dust" lithotripsy. The ROU Congress is the main urological event of the year. This year, approximately 1,500 people will participate, including members of international delegations (from Europe and China) and representatives from 60 regions of the Russian Federation. According to the organizers, this year's congress program will devote significant time to viewing and discussing surgeries performed in real time. For the first time, in addition to the main eight breakout sessions, two new educational modules will be presented: the International Postgraduate School of Men's Health (PRISM), Interdisciplinary Aspects of Men's Health, and the European Urological School on Nephrolithiasis. The congress is organized by the Russian Urological University (RUU) in conjunction with the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and the Bashkir State Medical University.
