16.11.2011
The ELEPS company presented an experimental shaver system for intrauterine surgery at the 20th Congress of the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy in London. The 20th annual congress of the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy was held from 21 to 24 September 2011 at the International Exhibition Centre in London under the joint patronage of the European and British Societies of Gynecological Endoscopy. Kazan, Kazan State Medical University was represented by PhD, assistant Igor Valerievich Klyucharov, who gave a report entitled "Shaver system for the treatment of intrauterine pathology". A report on organ-preserving treatment of arteriovenous malformation of the uterus aroused great interest. As a result of an unconventional approach to treatment, the patient was able to preserve her uterus and the possibility of childbearing in the future. Standard treatment in most cases involves organ-removal therapy to combat episodic massive uterine bleeding. An experimental shaver system for intrauterine surgery, developed by ELEPS in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 at Kazan State Medical University, is currently represented on the global market by two newly launched products: Trueclear (S&M), Myosure (Hologic), and the experimental Storz device.
