Current issues in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract

On February 28, a scientific and practical conference with all-Russian participation was held in Kazan, “Current issues of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract.” It discussed the features of planning endoscopic surgeries on the frontal sinus — the speaker was Vladimir Mikhailovich Averbukh (head of the department of diseases of the nose and pharynx of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution Scientific Center of Otolaryngology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, associate professor of the department of otolaryngology of the Faculty of additional professional education of the State Budgetary Educational Institution Russian National Research Medical University named after Pirogov, MOSCOW). Also, professor Vladimir Nikolaevich Krasnozhen, head of the department of otolaryngology of the Kazan State Medical Academy (Kazan) spoke about the nuances of surgical treatment of pathology of the lacrimal ducts using modern technologies: radio wave surgery, the ElePS shaver system, as well as the ElePS lacrimal canal light guide.
