MedExpo 2017

From 4 to 6 April 2017, the International Medical Forum "Healthcare Week in Kyrgyzstan MEDEXPO 2017" was held in Bishkek. This event is unique in that it brings together healthcare professionals, government representatives, business circles and the public to share accumulated experiences, learn about new developments in healthcare and medicine, and discuss current issues related to the effectiveness of the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan. The exposition of the International Medical Forum presented several specialized exhibitions at one site: • 12th International Specialized Exhibition - "Medicine" MedExpo 2017; • 5th Specialized Exhibition - "Healthy Lifestyle" Healthy Lifestyle 2017; • 3rd Specialized Exhibition - "Pharmacy" Pharmacy Bishkek 2017; • 3rd International Exhibition - "Medical Tourism" BIMTE 2017; • The 2nd Specialized Exhibition – Dental Expo 2017. ElePS Company is a regular participant of the MedExpo Medicine Exhibition and annually demonstrates to visitors its own endoscopic products (devices, optical tubes, instruments). ElePS Company thanks its partners in Kyrgyzstan, the ALTERMED Laboratory Diagnostic Center, for the opportunity to demonstrate its products at their stand.   [ /upload/medialibrary/f9e/1(1).jpg ] The exhibition, part of the “Healthcare Week in Kyrgyzstan MEDEXPO 2017”, includes the following main sections: - healthcare; - aesthetic medicine; - medical equipment, including X-ray and physiotherapy; - medical products; - rehabilitation and prevention equipment; - orthopedic technologies; - medical clothing; - instruments for medical and surgical practice; - medical services; - diagnostic services; - equipment for emergency medicine; - medical literature. Every year, in addition to exhibitions, the Forum offers visitors a rich business program, which includes training seminars, presentations, round tables, etc. In particular, the Department of Drug Supply and Medical Equipment under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic organized three thematic seminars this year: 1) “On the functioning of the Medical Equipment Accounting System via the Internet”; 2) “On the progress of implementing the action plan for the implementation of the Concept of creating an electronic database of medicines and medical devices (EDBDLS) in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2016-2020”; 3) “On the new System for submitting applications for registration of medicines via the Internet”. MEDEXPO 2017 in figures: - 86 companies; - 68 foreign companies; - 2000 sq.m. total exposition area; - 4329 exhibition visitors; - 12 participating countries. The International Medical Forum "Healthcare Week in Kyrgyzstan MEDEXPO 2017" is supported by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Pharmaceutical Supply of Medical Equipment under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the State Agency for Investment and Export Promotion under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
