New development - a thin rigid endoscope
18.07.2007
A thin, rigid endoscope with a diameter of 2.9 mm, a viewing angle of 30 degrees, and a length of 301 mm has been launched into production. The reduced diameter of the endoscope allows the use of diagnostic and surgical sheaths, as well as resectoscopes and urethrotomes of a smaller diameter, reducing the trauma of the intervention. Despite its small diameter, the endoscope has excellent optical characteristics: excellent resolution, good brightness, and a large image size. Areas of application: diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy (transvaginal endoscopy, intrauterine high-frequency surgery), diagnostic and operative cystourethroscopy, transurethral resectoscopy.
