The first scientific and practical conference of the Association of Young Urologists of Russia (AYUR) "Modern Achievements and Opportunities in Practical Urology"

The first scientific and practical conference of the Association of Young Urologists of Russia (AMUR), "Modern Achievements and Opportunities in Practical Urology," was held in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria. The conference was organized by the Association of Young Urologists of Russia with the support of the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Health, Kabardino-Balkarian State University, the Medium Clinic, and the Kabardino-Balkarian Chamber of Physicians. ElePS sponsored the event and provided equipment for the workshop. Two procedures were performed during the live surgery workshop using the Quasar system, based on the FiberLase U1 laser system: laser ablation of the urethra and transurethral laser EN-BLOCK resection of a bladder tumor. Ramis Fatikhov, President of AMUR, Moscow, performed the surgery. The practical portion of the conference also featured laparoscopic ureteropelvic junction reconstruction, laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic renal cyst resection, and percutaneous nephrolitholapaxy. The broadcast was conducted from the operating rooms of the Medium Clinics at the State Clinical Hospital. The conference included lectures by leading AMUR specialists on new energy technologies in minimally invasive urological treatment, prostate fusion biopsy, modern approaches to cancer diagnostics, surgical treatment of renal cysts, vesicostomy in children, and more.
