A conference on "Modern Urological Technologies in the Treatment of Urological Diseases" was held in Barnaul.

ElePS sponsored a scientific and practical conference with a master class by F.A. Sevryukov, Chief Urologist of the Central Health Directorate of JSC Russian Railways, MD, Professor, and provided surgical equipment. Using the provided Quasar laser endourology system, Fedor Anatolyevich Sevryukov performed two surgeries: thulium enucleation of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and thulium resection of a bladder tumor. Urology specialists from Barnaul, Novosibirsk, and the Altai Krai presented their findings at the conference. The reports addressed the following topical issues: laparoscopic plastic surgery of the lower third of the ureter, experience of using laparoscopic surgeries in the urology department of the Regional Clinical Hospital (2014-2017), the role of urinary tract stenting in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, evaluation of long-term results (3 years) of surgical treatment of patients with Peyronie's disease, experience of plastic surgery on the male urethra, plasma and laser transurethral surgery of the prostate, modern capabilities and features of technologies, the use of mesh endoprostheses in the treatment of ureteral strictures.
