Two varicocele surgeries were performed at the Nerchinsk Central District Hospital using the new ElePS endoscopic complex for laparoscopic surgeries. The hospital received the equipment at the end of last year, purchased from the standardized safety stock for a total of over three million rubles. “We perform about seven hundred surgical operations annually, including on the digestive organs, for gynecological pathologies and many others. With the acquisition and launch of the new #eleps endoscopic complex, the number of operations may increase significantly, this figure will reach one thousand operations per year. And all because when operating on this equipment, interventions will become less traumatic, and the recovery and rehabilitation period for patients will be reduced by almost 3 times,” commented the acting. Anna Vechkanova, Chief Physician of the Nerchinsk Central District Hospital, said: "Due to the potential for increased operational activity at the hospital, all surgeries will be performed free of charge for patients with doctor's orders and compulsory medical insurance policies. A surgeon has been trained to use the new medical equipment, and a gynecologist is scheduled to be sent to Kazan for training in March." [ /upload/medialibrary/69e/5.jpg ]
