Three medical exhibitions will be held in St. Petersburg.

The 12th International Hospital Exhibition will open in St. Petersburg in October. For three days, the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex in the Gavan district will be transformed into a healthcare Mecca. The event is organized by Primexpo Exhibition Company, an official partner of ITE Group Plc. The exhibition will cover all aspects of modern medicine: equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, medical electrical devices, apparatus and instruments for cardiac surgery and endoscopy, dental equipment, hearing aids and massage devices will be presented. Professionals will also be offered new rehabilitation equipment and technologies, equipment for the production and control of medicines, equipment for pharmacies, blood banks, hospitals and sanatoriums. In addition, visitors will be able to find stands with dietary products, homeopathic preparations, biologically active supplements and medicinal herbs. According to tradition, the Pharmacy and EstetikMed exhibitions will be held simultaneously with the Hospital exhibition at Lenexpo. The joint holding of the three projects allows for a comprehensive overview of the entire spectrum of current healthcare issues. The thematic diversity has been attracting the constant interest of exhibitors and visitors for over ten years. It is worth noting that this year, over 200 companies—industry leaders from Russia and abroad, including Germany, China, South Korea, the USA, Belgium, and Slovakia—have announced their participation in the forum. Meanwhile, domestic manufacturers of medical products and pharmaceuticals are increasingly entering the competitive struggle in the market. According to the organizers, many promising developments by Russian scientists have received a start in life thanks to the Hospital exhibition. Today, it remains the only specialized medical exhibition in the Northwestern region of Russia. However, despite its high status and stable position among other socially significant exhibition projects, "Hospital" continues to amaze visitors and participants. This year, the exhibition will host for the first time the professional competition "Best in Profession" among pharmacy workers of medical institutions. The objectives of the competition, organized by the Pharmaceutical Association of St. Petersburg and the Northwest, are to improve the professional level of hospital pharmacy specialists, raise the prestige of working in hospital pharmacies, and help resolve the issue of personnel shortages.
