New equipment, which has no analogues in Kuzbass, has been put into operation in the regional tuberculosis dispensary of the Kemerovo region. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration. The new endoscopic device, made in Japan, is a powerful computer complex for the fine diagnosis of internal organ diseases. With its help, it is possible to detect minimal changes that provide an idea of ????oncological pathology, tuberculous changes, etc. Due to the high resolution, the video system makes it possible to enlarge the image by 20 times without changing its quality. The “freeze-frame” function allows you to detail the image and perform a targeted biopsy to confirm the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Archiving and storing images makes it possible to dynamically monitor the patient's condition. It is worth noting that the new endoscopic device, worth more than 3.3 million rubles, was purchased using funds from the regional budget. According to Alexander Samsonov, head of the regional department of public health, despite the complex measures taken in the region to treat and prevent tuberculosis, the number of people affected by this disease in the Kemerovo region remains high. The use of the latest generation of endoscopic equipment will enable early diagnosis to reach a new level, since the effectiveness of treatment largely depends on a timely diagnosis.
